The B western was an important venue of entertainment in America prior to the arrival of television.  Many people have warm nostalgic memories of spending carefree Saturdays watching their favorite cowboy star while munching on a nickel box of popcorn at the local movie theatre. In this course we will view a different B western each week with the star chosen by the class.  We will discuss studios, movie locations, sidekicks, leading ladies, plots, stock footage, filmographies, and biographies.

Danny is a native of north Georgia.  Danny was a pharmacist for 25 years, operating Brown’s Drugs in Blairsville until selling the business in 1996.  He then changed directions and taught school and coached football for 11 years.  Danny is now retired and enjoys many hobbies - hiking, traveling, camping, and, of course, watching vintage movies.
