Effective medicine for home remedies and first aid can easily be made from wild-crafted garden herbs. Learn about the native medicinal plants on and around your property as well as plants that can be grown in your “medicine garden”. Through lots of hands-on activities, students will learn how to transform the healing herbs into medicinal teas, tinctures, oil infusions, salves, lotions, poultices, and more. The text for this course is The Herbal Medicine Maker’s Handbook – A Home Manual by James Green which can be purchased at Amazon.com starting at $12.50. There will be an additional cost of $25 for materials payable at the first class.
