This course is perfect for the new orchid enthusiast who is interested in orchids as a hobby. The course is designed as an introduction. We will cover many of the orchid species, their history and where they can be found. We will also guide you through the care, watering, fertilizing, disease prevention and eradication, and dividing and replanting.

The Roberts have lived in the Union County, GA area for six years. They operate Roberts Mountain Greenhouses in Blairsville where growing and propagating orchids has become their specialty. They also provide quality indoor blooming and green foliage plants, a variety of dish gardens, flats of annuals and perennials in the spring, and plant maintenance services. Prior to moving here, Lee was a government executive and Robin was a Physicians Assistant with Life Flight.
