After retiring from Robins Air Force Base in GA, my spouse and I relocated to Young Harris, GA in 2014. Despite lacking a musical background, I sought a new hobby and chose to learn guitar. I purchased my first instrument and several instructional books, intending to use them as guidance. However, after encountering challenges with music theory, I opted to focus on practicing open chords and playing songs directly. Over the subsequent years and with additional guitars, I have progressed to performing with two different jam groups. I thoroughly enjoy playing guitar, though I have been advised against singing in public settings.
