Course Instructors - Jill Long and Sheila Rodgers
Course Fee - $15.00
Have you ever lost power for an extended period of time from an ice storm, hurricane or other natural disaster? Come share your experiences with us as we explore the most likely weather events that may affect us here in the tri-county area. Learn how to access local disaster information via social media in order to be prepared before, during and after a disaster. Printed preparedness handouts will also be available. Special consideration will focus on older adult needs (hint: we’re not as spry as we used to be!)
Jill Long & Sheila Rodgers. Between them there are 73+ years of nursing experience each with gerontology certifications. Jill has lived in Clay County for 20 years.
