Course Instructor - Virginia Tinsley

Course Fee - $25.00

This is an introductory class to teach fundamentals of art theory as applied in the medium of watercolor. The purpose of the class is to learn basics such as value and color theory rather than to produce finished works of art. A supply fee of $30 (paid to instructor on the first day of class) covers paint and paper for exercises so that everyone will use the same materials. Participants will get a list of other supplies needed before the first class.

Virginia Uhl Tinsley has been painting with watercolors for as long as she can remember. She majored in art at Agnes Scott College and has started painting more intently since her retirement. Some of her recent work is on display at Cable’s Gallery.
